Fertility Awareness Education

At Arborwoman health, our providers utilize the Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) approach to help you learn the signs of your fertility to achieve your reproductive goals and to understand the role your cycle plays in your overall health. 
 

What is Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM)?

FEMM is an education and prevention based reproductive health program. FEMM education and FEMM Medical Management go hand in hand. FEMM education teaches you how to confidently and successfully chart your cycle each month by understanding your body and recognizing hormonal shifts and other vital signs of health. If your charting is out of the range of normal, our FEMM teacher will refer you to our FEMM medical provider, who is able to provide more accurate testing, diagnosis and treatment, by working with information provided by your own charting data.

Our goal is to empower you in the achievement of your health and reproductive goals by helping you have a better understanding of your biology and monthly cycles. Through FEMM medical management we then provide a comprehensive physical and lab workup to diagnose and treat the root causes of health conditions.

Natalie Arend, FEMM instructor
Natalie obtained her FEMM teacher certification in 2021 and is passionate about educating and empowering women to learn and know the signs of their cycle and what it can tell them about their health and fertility. 
Hallie Gonzalez, MSN, RN, CNM
As a trained FEMM provider, Hallie approaches women’s healthcare through the lens of a holistic and restorative approach, centered around restoring hormonal balance, conducting in-depth testing and providing personalized treatment plans to help women achieve a renewed state of health and wellbeing.
